Veritas Volume Manager is a very powerful, complex and valuable package.
It provides the ability to create logical volumes that are much larger
and more redundant than any one disk device could ever be. It can keep
a server and your business services alive even if one or more disk devices
fail.

This value comes at a price however. You must have experienced personnel
to manage and monitor the volumes under Veritas control. Unless the
administrator knows exactly how to create, repair, resize or
move volumes, a system can go down and stay down for several hours.

How we provide Veritas Support

We first inspect your Veritas Volume Manager configuration. This configuration
is recorded and evaluated. Potential risks like misconfiguration or single points
of failure are identified. Once the environment is well documented, MarZ can
then make changes as dictated by the customer. As requirements arise, MarZ will
resolve them. Failed disks, file systems filling up, insufficient IO performance can all
be resolved by MarZ.

The availability and performance data we collect and graph for you in real time will allow
us to resolve issues before they become issues. Disk space, CPU load, Disk IO load and
network interface errors and saturation are almost always apparent well before your
business suffers an outage.
